Smudge was a sweet young adult female cat who battled health issues the first year of her life here at the Scratching Post. After many tests and several vet visits, she was finally diagnosed with a pancreatic enzyme deficiency, a rare but treatable condition. This illness, however, limits the number of potential homes for Smudge, due to the cost of medication and special diet. After a long wait, however, Smudge found her purrfect human who decided to be her loving foster mom. We love it when our cats and kittens find good homes!
